Our commission includes everything you need to sell your luxury designer items such as basic reconditioning and cleaning of items (excluding clothing), photography, digital editing, online listing, marketing, customer service, payment processing, shipping and returns processing. We've been selling luxury designer items for over a decade; we consider many factors when pricing items such as market value, condition, style and other criteria. Our goal is to price items fairly for both sellers and buyers alike.
When you view the check date online; the date indicated is actually the date you are paid through for the amount listed, it's not the date the check was issued. Since we pay monthly for all items sold the previous month; the actual printing date is approximately 25-30 after the date shown.
If you use our cash offer you don't have to worry about items selling or not. If your items are on consignment with us we'll either send them back to you or donate them depending on the account preference you selected and in accordance with the seller terms.
If your check hasn't reached you we recommend giving it a little more time, they don't call it snail mail for nothing. If it's been past 90-days since the date we issued it we'll send a new check to you at no charge. If it's been less than 90-days you can have a check re-issued for a nominal fee (charged by the bank) or select to have your payment issued to you by PayPal (certain terms apply).
If your account balance is below $50 we'll automatically send you payment once it reaches over this threshold. You may request payment for balances below $50 and we'll process it with the next normally scheduled payout. Balances of $50 and higher are automatically paid in accordance with our seller terms.
There are multiple processes prior to an item being placed on our website. It could simply be that your items are currently being processed, photographed or listed but have not gone live on our site yet. Other factors could include reasons such as us intentionally scheduling your items for a certain date due to promotions and marketing purposes. Timing also depends on the amount of inventory we are currently receiving.
To bring you the highest value for your clothing and to maintain the highest quality of products we only accept and store clothing items in freshly cleaned condition. Dry-cleaning clothing items also prevents them from cross-contaminating other items in our inventory. If we feel your items needed to be dry-cleaned we send the item to our dry-cleaners on your behalf.
